Honda Civic 20062011 New Hybrid Battery Pack
This Civic is registered as having had two replacement batteries. I suspect the prior owner was taken advantage of by a dealership parts department. This battery was never rebuilt. All parts were accounted for and no signs of having been taken apart. All cells were uniform and numbered like a new stock built battery pack.. The dealership tells me bad news - the car needs a new IMA and battery, cost to me is over 9 thousand. The car is 11 years old so I'm not eligible for replacement under the extended warranty, which is 9 years (but there is also a recall on my battery apparently!). Codes indicated an "internal failure".
